Even though these pictures were taken in May, I figured it would be nice and useful to show you guys what I wore to prom this year. My best friend of almost seven years was gracious enough to invite me to her prom and pay for what I was going to wear. The entire outfit only cost us $15.50, minus the shoes. The shirt, pants, and jacket were purchased at a thrift store. The suspenders and the belt were from an alternative clothing store. My biggest tip for dressing yourself for a formal occasion is to make sure you stay true to your general style. Put your own twist into whatever you wear, and wear it with pride.
