Hey. I was wondering if you knew of any articles, forums, or videos about dating experiences of gay transmen or genderqueer people that are more masculine identified who are interested in men. I tried finding some, but was unable to. I am genderqueer, and the whole prospect of dating and relationships is intimidating to me, and would just like to find some resources with some helpful tips.
Anonymous askedZak: Yes, there most certainly are. Fuckyeahtransfags is a great collab tumblr for trans*masculine individuals who are attracted to men. As we recently posted, queertransmen.org is a good resource as well. If you’re interested in blogs, Matt Kailey is a gay trans man who occasionally talks about his dating experiences and gives advice on such things on his blog, as does NotAnotherAiden. As for videos, “Issues for Gay Trans Men, Disclosure, and An Update”, “On Being a Gay Transguy”, “Gay Sex with Transgender Men (Part I)”, “Dating and Coming Out”, and “Dating Bio-Guys/Thoughts on Going Stealth” should be pretty informative.
There’s probably more out there, that’s just what I was able to come up.
